   A large number of books are available in the library and there is a provision to buy more books from time to time as per requirement. In addition to the subject-related books, there are also reference books. Various magazines and magazines are also invited.

About the Computer Lab:
   Government Science College, Zalod has well furnished computer labs with modern equipped terminals and loaded with softwares pertaining to the curriculum. The labs are fully air-conditioned with power backup facility and professionally set. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. All of the systems in Computer Labs have been loaded with Microsoft Windows7 and Linux Operating System.

   A Science lab is a workplace for the conduct of scientific research. It helps students to remember the concepts better. It helps to transfer the experience to other learning situations.
It is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific research, experiments and measurement may be performed. A science lab consists of Burettes, tongs, tweezers, forceps, test tubes, conical flasks, laboratory balance, specimens, slides, microscopes, many chemicals useful for experiments.
